I met Sonny and spoke briefly with him outside a Fry’s supermarket in Gilbert, AZ. What do you think of his ride?
I have never ridden a bike with ape hangers before – all mine have been either standard, cafe racer or streetfigher. I asked Sonny how they felt and he said after about 6 hours his hands get a bit fatigued. He also said for a big as the bike is – 106 cubic inches (that’s over 1,700 CCs) – it is very well balanced. His Harley driving buds can’t believe how it feels when then saddle it.
