For people who ride to and from work, the 2015 Yamaha FZ-09 may be a good option. I bought my FZ-09 in March 2016 and in just 4 months have logged over 7,000 miles.
The main drawback for commuters on the FZ-09 is how the seat tends to push the rider forward which causes some discomfort in the crotch. If you’re looking for storage under the seat, the FZ-09 doesn’t provide much.
